There is one more prayer written by Adi Shankara Bhagawat pada with five verses called “Guru Paduka Panchakam”.

Which is the ocean of knowledge, resembling the full moon,
Which is the water, which puts out the fire of misfortunes,

Which make those who prostrate before it,
Possessors of great wealth, even if they are very poor,,
And which makes even dumb people in to great orators.

Naleeka neekasa pada hrithabhyam, nana vimohadhi nivarikabyam,
Nama janabheeshtathathi pradhabhyam namo nama sri guru padukhabyam., 4

Which attracts us, to lotus like feet of our Guru,
Which cures us, of the unwanted desires,
And which helps fulfill the desires of those who salute.

Which shine like a maid in the crocodile infested stream,
And which make the devotees attain the status of a king.

Which is like a series of Suns, driving away the dark sins,
Which is like the king of eagles, driving away the cobra of miseries,
And which is like a terrific fire drying away the ocean of ignorance. 

Shamadhi shatka pradha vaibhavabhyam,Samadhi dhana vratha deeksithabhyam,
Ramadhavadeegra sthirha bhakthidabhyam, namo nama sri guru padukhabyam.7

Which endows us, with the glorious six qualities like sham,
Which gives the students ,the ability to go in to eternal trance,
And which helps to get perennial devotion to the feet of Vishnu.

Swanthachad bhava pradha poojanabhyam, namo nama sri guru padukhabyam., 8

Who are ever involved in carrying the burden of service
And which helps the aspirants to the state of realization.

Which is the Garuda,which drives away the serpent of passion,
Which provides one, with the treasure of wisdom and renunciation,

Alexithymyia - Acts That Happen When We Get Divine Glimpse of Pujya Gurudev

After a week hectic office schedule, I was listening to Hariom Kirtan today on YouTube. As usual, felt peaceful and happy to hear divine music and voice of our beloved Satguru Bapuji .Hence, mesmerized the day when I last got honor to get his divine Glimpse.(Yes, It was in Jodhpur.) and thinking for the future day as well when recurrence will take place. 

I flash backed into all moments of that one day. The Joyful moments surely needs to be shared with everyone Moments were few but surely complete and contend in it.

Though wanted to write blog on this site since many months, but it’s like- topic suddenly strikes, it cannot be created or thought upon much. And yes TODAY is the day!

And WHAT ELSE COULD be nicer than sharing own experiences, Bhaktimay words in the holy feet of Gurudev with Sadhak bhai and behan .

Enclosing acts that happen when we get divine glimpse of Pujya Gurudev .
I am sure all Bapu disciples can relate this with their own experiences.

10 things that Happen when you see Gurudev  Pujya Sant Shree Asharam Bapu ji -

        1.      Divine wave blows around and you feel you are no more on usual material planet                             known as Earth.

  

           2.     You feel some celestial vibrations around mind and body.

          3.      Physically either your cheek welcomes tears in lieu of happiness ( khushi ke aansu )

   4.   Or you cannot stop your Smile coming straight from Heart.

   5.  You don’t want to blink your eyes because it’s like saving a millisecond to constantly look           at the divine Sage.

    6.       Except Bapuji, You don’t bother about anyone else around vicinity.

गुरु के सम्मुख जाय के सहे कसौटी दुःख|
कह कबीर ता दुःख पर कोटि वारूँ सुख||

   7.     You always want Bapuji to see you in the crowd and pray for his minute glance upon you.

      8.        Those are the only moments you felt you were complete.

       9.   Your hands get automatically joined in Prayer position.

       10.   You feel safe, loved , powerful , good ,Joyous, Pure more than you felt a day ago :)

This may sound like exaggeration to non believers but that’s how it is. BELIEVE OR NOT.

आत्म-निष्ठा

प्रिय साधक ! 

• बहुत प्रयास करने पर भी मन शान्त नहीं होता ? 
• वृत्तियाँ स्थिर नहीं होती ? 
• तुम्हारी साधना निष्फल सी भास रही है ? 
• अहंकार विलीन होने के बदले ठोस होता चला जा रहा है ?
• कोई उपाय नहीं नजर नहीं आता ?

देख, एक रहस्य समझ ले। यदि तू मन की वृत्तियाँ से डरकर उनको स्थिर करने का उपाय करेगा तो मन ज्यादा पुष्ट होता जायगा, अहंकार खड़ा ही रहेगा। क्योंकि वास्तव में वे तेरी ही सत्ता से जिन्दे हैं। इसलिए तू मन और मन की सत्त्व रज तमोगुणवाली वृत्तियों को मिथ्या जानकर उनकी तरफ से बेपरवाह हो जा। ऐसा करने पर मन अपने आप शान्त हो जायेगा। क्या तूने बृहस्पति के पुत्र कच का हाल नहीं सुना ?

कच ने बहुत वर्षों तक अहंकार को निवृत्त करने का प्रयत्न किया और अहंकार अधिक पुष्ट होता गया। तब देवगुरू बृहस्पति ने उसे कहाः "पुत्र ! यह अहंकार तुझ आत्मा में मिथ्या स्फुरा है। उसका क्या उपाय करता है ? उसको मिथ्या जान। मिथ्या के लिए परिश्रम मत कर।" ऐसा उपदेश सुनकर कच को ज्ञान हो गया और वह जीवन्मुक्त होकर विचरा।

अतः हे अहंकार के पीछे डंडा लेकर भागने वालों ! डंडे को फेंक दो। क्यों मिथ्या श्रम करते हो ? याद रखोः जिस समय तुम अहं को मिथ्या जान लोगे उसी क्षण वह निवृत्त हो जायगा। रज्जू का सर्प लाठी से नहीं मरेगा, उसके मिथ्यात्व के ज्ञान से ही उसकी तात्कालिक निवृत्ति होती है।

वृत्तियों को सदा के लिए स्थिर करने की मेहनत मत करो। सर्व वृत्तियों का जो प्रकाशक है, अधिष्ठानरूप तुम्हारा आत्मा है उसे जान लो। आत्मनिष्ठ हो रहो और वृत्तियों की परवाह मत करो। वृत्तियाँ अपने आप शान्त होती जायेंगी।

The Guru-Purnima message

            


                                          यत्सत्येन जगत्सत्यं यत्प्रकाशेन विभाति 

                                          यत् यदानन्देन नन्दन्ति तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः

                                          जिनके अस्तित्व से संसार का अस्तित्व है,

                            जिनके प्रकाश से जगत प्रकाशित होता है,

                            जिनके आनंद से सब आनंदित होता है, 

                            उन आत्मवेत्ता गुरुदेव को प्रणाम है !'

'Salutations to the Self-realized Gurudev The Existence Absolute Who makes the world exist, The Consciousness Absolute Who illuminates the world, The Bliss Absolute Who makes the world blissful'.

Guru-Purnima infuses the Jiva, who has been wandering for countless lives, with the blessedness of knowledge, Bhakti and Yoga. Through the teachings of the preceptors, God and the scriptures and through the jiva’s own experience and makes him capable of saving himself from the agony he has been suffering in mothers’ wombs and entitles him to attain to the Supreme State.

Guru-Purnima is the day of making one’s mind holy by recalling the memory of God-realized Gurus like MaharshiVed Vyas ji who make one capable of attaining to the Supreme State. This is the day of practising penance and taking pious vows. It is the day when one should undertake some new resolve according to the guidance of the preceptor.

‘These are the shortcomings in my mind; these are the shortcomings in my conduct; these are the shortcomings in my life…’

After such introspection, one should take a resolve to undertake some observance,japa or anushthana which one is capable of so as to weed out the shortcomings and then one should resolve to move ahead in one’s spiritual journey. It is the day when one should take stock of the spiritual endeavours made by him in the past year and the spiritual experiences had thereby and should look to the Guru for tips for making further progress.

After the Vyas Purnima, schools of spirituality open and new lessons are taught.In summer the land becomes parched, the rain comes around Vyas Purnima and the earth is infused with a new life as are the trees. Similarly, Vyas Purnima brings new spiritual awakening, new radiance, new joy and new vigour in the sadhaka’s life and inspires him to move forward to a new life. Inspired by this pious festival, the Jiva can endeavour to realize God.

Maharshi Veda Vyasji commenced writing the world’s first ever spiritual treatise, ‘Brahman-Sutra’ on this day. The Mahabharata was completed on the Guru-Purnima day and Gods blessed this day saying,

“The sadhaka, who worships his Guru on this day, who propitiates his Guru and determines his spiritual path with his Guru’s guidance, will earn the religious merit of doing all virtuous deeds throughout the year.”

Since then man has been celebrating the pious festival of Guru-Purnima with great zeal & enthusiasm. Not only Indians but demigods and the yogis living in the heavens too celebrate Guru-Purnima with great zeal and enthusiasm.This is not the occasion for longish tales, it is the occasion for sitting near the lotus feet of Satguru. It is not the occasion for discourses; it is the occasion for coming back to and reposing in the Transcendent True Self, the Bliss Absolute where all discourses emanate from and roll back to. It is an utsava.

Utsava is made form the syllables ut (near) and sava (yajna or sacrifice). The yajna of realizing by the True Self, the Bliss Absolute, the nearest of the near, is the utsava of Vyas Purnima.Other utsavas we celebrate but the utsava of Vyas Purnima like a mother cajoles us. A mother cajoles her child saying, “Come here my child! You have been playing in the dirt for quiet some time and have thereby become dirty. Now take a bath and clean yourself. I will give you butter and sugarcandy.”

Similarly Vyas Purnima says,

‘O Jiva ! You have been wandering for several lives. Now comeback to your real nature of Pure Consciousness, to Self knowledge, to the Lord, the Giver of life.’

A mother cajoles the child and thereby cleans and nourishes him. Vyas Purnima cajoles us and thereby purifies our mind, imbues it with virtues like humility, modesty etc. and very kindly endows us with the capability to assimilate Satguru’s experience of omnipresence through worshipping Him.Our minds are invaded by violent winds of all kinds. Now we are plagued by doubt and now by fear or other such feeling. If the mind gets restive or gets derailed from the path of sadhana and Bhakti because of bad company, the sadhakas make new resolutions and resume their journey with renewed vigour.

After the Vyas Purnima, the wandering, Self-realized saints stay at one place. There, they study Brahma-Sutra and other scriptures and commence writing new spiritual books.At times people in a society slide down towards degeneration. Demonic nature, dualistic thoughts,casteism and feelings of mine and thine spread through the society. Divorced from the non-dualreality, people are plagued by dualistic feelings which make them unquiet. The result isnarrowmindedness, strife and unrest in the society. But when Self-realized Gurus disseminate their Knowledge in the society, people’s minds are imbued with virtues like oneness, peace, love,magnanimity, forgiveness, rectitude and purity etc. and sadhaka is filled with the prasad of the Supreme Consciousness.

… तुम को ऐसा यमराज का मोबाइल नंबर  बताता हूँ…ऊपर से बोलोगे “वाह बापू वाह”! अन्दर से तो सोचोगे की ये फ़कीर दवायियाँ  तो बताता है ..लेकिन सीधा यमराज का मोबाइल नंबर ?” ..

वशिष्ठ  जी को रामजी ने पूछा कि बिमारी से कैसे ठीक होते तो वशिष्ट जी बोले औषध से भी ठीक होते , आशीर्वाद से भी ठीक होते और संतो के नेत्रों से निकलने वाली दिव्य दृष्टी से भी रोग ठीक हो सकते है….जहाँ  डॉक्टर  की पहुंच नही वह भी ब्रम्ह ज्ञानी की पहुंच होती है…( पूज्य बापूजी ने २/३ उदाहरण  दिए ..जो लोग कोमा मे थे , कैसे  बाहर  आये..)  आप के किसी रिश्तेदार या  किसी को ये मुसीबत है तो इस  मंत्र का जाप करे..अगर ठीक होना है तो हो जायेंगे और अगर मौत स्वाभाविक आनी है तो आ जायेगी ….डेढ़ महिना कोमा मे….ये वो…कोई जरुरत नही  कष्ट मे रहने की….डरने की…. तुरंत रास्ता मिल जाएगा …. किसी भी रूप मे मार्ग मिल जाएगा ..चाहे भगवान स्वयं  सपने मे आकर भी बता देंगे….(सदगुरू भगवान की जय हो!!!!!!)

Here is the story of Nachiketa & Dharmraj from Kathopnishad

वैधानिक चेतावनी - यह पोस्ट मान बड़ाई पाने की इच्छा से लिखा गया है | लेकिन सत्संग में सुना है "मान पुड़ी  है जेहर की जो खाए मर जाये , चाह उसकी रखता घोर नरक में जाये " .इस पोस्ट का निर्माण उस निमित्त किया गया था जब बापूजी को त्रित्रिनाड़ी  शूल की पीड़ा हुई थी & उन्हें पुलिस जीप में लेटाया गया था (उस समय की हृदयविदारक चित्र अभी भी आँखों में आंसू ले आती है ) , उस समय महामृत्युंजय अथवा यमराज वाला मंत्र सबको जपने के लिए कहा जा रहा था लेकिन यमराज के मंत्र की विधि किसी को पता नहीं थी | ये वाली रिकॉर्डिंग मैंने २-३ साल पहले की थी & इसमें पूज्य बापूजी ने सम्पूर्ण विधि बताई है | शायद इन्टरनेट पर ये अकेला विडियो है |मैंने उस समय ऑडियो  शेयर नहीं की , क्योंकि एक ऑडियो पहले से उपलब्ध था लेकिन उसमें केवल मंत्र था|मुझे लग रहा था की अगर इसकी ऑडियो डाल दी तो लोग बैठे हुए हैं हाथ मरने  को & अपने नाम से आगे बढ़ने केलिए |

प्रायः देखा जाता है कि साधक समुदाय में धड़ल्ले से विडियो & टेक्स्ट कॉपी पेस्ट  किये जाता है या अपने नाम से आगे पोस्ट किया जाता है | इसलिए इसके विडियो में पहले से ही subtitle आदि डाल  दिया  गया है ताकि कोई शेयर करे तो मूल चीज़ बची रहे(तथा निर्माण करता की पहचान भी )| आजकल एक और  चीज़ देखने में आती  है की लोग अपने द्वारा बने चित्रों में अपना नाम , छोटा सा ही सही डाल  देते हैं |ऐसा मैं भी अपने पेज केलिए १-२ बार किया है लेकिन जिस भी फोटो में पूज्य श्री का चित्र है उसमें मैं ऐसा कभी नहीं करूँगा , क्योंकि बापूजी ने अपना नाम कहीं नही लगाया आजतक ,न ही अपने ज्ञान का पेटेंट करवाया | ये भारत की ऋषि परंपरा का जीता जगता उद्धरण है |

हमारे ऋषि मुनियों ने इतनी खोज/अन्वेषण/अविष्कार किये लेकिन किसी के आगे अपना नाम नहीं जोड़ा{पाइथागोरस प्रमेय , निउटन के नियम कभी सुना वशिष्ठ प्रमेय , विश्वामित्र थ्योरम ? } , ये सब सिर्फ पश्चिम के वैज्ञानिक करते हैं |क्योंकि हमारी ऋषि - मुनि जानते थे  कि

 " समग्र संसार के तत्त्वज्ञान ,विज्ञान,कला,गणित और काव्य आपकी आत्मा से ही निकलते हैं
और निकलते रहेंगे|अतः आत्मध्यान,आत्मचिंतन में निमग्न रहें  " (आश्रम sms १४-१०-२०११ )

इसलिए कौन सी चीज़ का पेटेंट करा सकता है क्योंकि सबका आत्मा तो एक ही है , इसलिए ज्ञान भी एक ही है |मैं स्वयं बेसिक साइंस का विद्यार्थी हूँ और मुझे पता है आजकल प्लाग्रिस्म के क्या हालात हैं | हर  बार भारत के वैज्ञानिकों को ही दोषी साबित किया जाता है एवं  बाद में उनका शोध  आपने नाम से किसी और जर्नल में छाप दिया जाता है |

लेकिन यह मेरे गुरु का ज्ञान है , गंगाजी की तरह अविरल | आप इसे कॉपी पेस्ट अपने नाम से करने केलिए मुक्त हैं या चाहें तो अपने नाम से फिर से पोस्ट कर दिजिये |

आसारामं परमसुखदं पूज्यपादं महान्तम्।

सन्तं शान्तं सकलगुणिनं ध्याननिष्ठं वरेण्यम्।

विद्याधारं प्रथितयशसं धर्ममूर्तिं धरायाम्।

वन्दे नित्यं भुवनविदितं प्राणीनां कल्पवृक्षम्।।1।।

धर्मार्थं यः सकलभुवने सत्यमार्गं प्रयाति।

सेवाभावैः शमयति सदा दैन्यदुःखं समेषाम्।

यातो यो नः चरणशरणं तस्य सर्वत्र सौख्यम्।

आसारामो वितरति गुरुर्वन्दनीयो नराणाम्।।2।।

धन्याः सर्वे नगरगृहिणो दर्शनं प्राप्य पुण्यम्।

जाता पूर्णा हृदयलसिता हार्दिकी कामना या।

श्रावं श्रावं विमलमनसा भक्तिगीतं पुनीतम्।

स्मारं स्मारं तव गुणगणं चित्तमग्नाः समे स्वे।।3।।

लोके पुण्यं प्रभवति यदा सर्वथा मानवानाम्।

साधूनां संप्रसरति तदा दर्शनं भाग्यसिद्धम्।

पूर्वपुण्यं प्रकटितमिदं सत्यमेतद् ध्रुवं नः।

ज्ञानालोकं सदयहृदयं त्वां नमामो गुरुं स्वम्।।4।।

कुर्वन्पुण्यं लसति सततं भा-रतं भारतं स्वम्।

राष्ट्र मान्यं निखिलभुवने धर्मिणामग्रगण्यम्।

यः सन्देशैः सहजदितैर्भावगीतैर्नवीनै-

र्दिव्यर्भव्यैरमृतसदृशैस्तं नुमो ज्ञानगम्यम्।।5।।

परम सुख देने वाले, शांत, सम्पूर्ण गुणों के निधि, ध्याननिष्ठ, श्रेष्ठ विद्या के आधार, प्रसिद्ध कीर्तिवाले, पृथ्वी पर धर्म की साक्षात् मूर्ति, विश्वविख्यात, समस्त प्राणियों के कल्पवृक्ष, पूज्यपाद महान् संत श्री आसारामजी बापू की वन्दना करते हैं।(1)

जो धर्म के प्रचार के लिए सम्पूर्ण विश्व में भ्रमण करते हैं, सेवाभाव से सभी के दुःख एवं दैन्य को सतत दूर करते हैं, जिनके चरण-शरण में आने वाले मनुष्य को सर्वत्र सौख्य प्राप्त होता है, ऐसे पूज्यपाद संत श्री आसारामजी बापू सभी मनुष्य के वन्दनीय हैं।(2)

आज हम सभी नगर-गृहवासी आपके पवित्र दर्शन प्राप्त कर धन्य हैं। जो कामना हृदय में चिरलसित थी, वह पूर्ण हो गयी। विमल मन से आपकी भक्ति के पवित्र गीत सुन-सुनकर तथा आपके गुण-समूह को पुनः पुनः स्मरण कर सभी भक्तजन आनन्दमग्न हैं।(3)

संसार में जब मानवों के पूर्व पुण्यों का उदय होता है, तभी भाग्यसिद्ध संतों का दर्शन प्राप्त होता है। आज हमारा पूर्वपुण्य प्रकटित हुआ है यह सर्वथा सत्य है। अतः ज्ञान के प्रकाश, सदयहृदय अपने गुरु पूज्यपाद श्री आसारामजी बापू को हम नमन करते हैं।(4)

नित्य, दिव्य, भव्य एवं नवीन भावपूर्ण उपदेशों से जो भारत राष्ट्र को सम्पूर्ण विश्व में कीर्तियुक्त करते हुए शोभायमान हैं, ऐसे उन धार्मिकों में अग्रमण्य, ज्ञानगम्य संत श्री आसारामजी बापू हैं। हम उनको सतत नमन करते हैं।(5)
